This organization was founded by dear childhood friends of mine, and I believe so much in the work they are doing. ABOUT THE CAUSE: Living Compassion is a grassroots project that grew out of a chance encounter in 2004, bringing together a group of folks from the United States and a community in Kantolomba, Zambia. Through a deep partnership of love, care, and connection, a community where residents once reported that 7 in 10 children died before the age of 5, is now a place where children receive daily nutrition, access to medical care, clean water, safe housing… all of the requirements for basic survival. With that foundation, the community is focusing on education, understanding that it is the key to the continued sustainability for Kantolomba to thrive.
